Hi all ! Well my Love Tree kit arrived today so Ive just done my first hour on it. Im well impressed with the kit... this is the first Bothy Ive done and after years of simple kit cross stitching, Ive only just learned how to do a loop start. How simple and neat is that ? !! Right .. I have a couple of questions. Im moving around using different colours at the moment... since only one strand is used for the main cross stitch, Im sure Ill have enough thread, but do people keep the pieces of strand for finishing off? Im tending to only use half the strand length at the moment as the colours are so diverse, and I dont want to hang the thread across the back of my work as Im concerned it will show through.... Second question.. Ive never used a frame and I dont have one right now, so continuing without one. Im trying to be very careful not to crease the Aida too much, but Im finding that this is slowing me down quite a bit as its a fairly large piece. Ive never done one this size.... when I press it at the end, will the creases come out easily enough ? Thanks everyone ! So glad I found this site !!!
