Hi all. Well sad to say that summer is officially over, but at The Balgarth Pines, we wont mope for too long. Autumn/winter signifies a time for change and continuing to offer fantastic value for money to all our loyal customers. Its very much out with the fruit ciders, al fresco dining and beer gardens, and in with heavy reds, comfort food and a warm cosy corner. We have so much to tell you about what we are offering..... Our weekly steak and quiz night every Wednesday remains as popular as ever, £50 prize each week!! Happy Mondays, gives you the chance to shake off the weekend blues and enjoy our supper promotion all night long!! On a Thursday, we have added totally tapas!! 3 for £10 and 6 for £18 presents value and fantastic choice, coupled with our tipsy tapas choice too!! That Friday feeling, will showcase local live music each week, which we have complimented with a 2 course menu and a cocktail for £12.... Get out that office, straight to the Balgarth and start your weekend off as you should. Sundays are about chilling for us. The Sunday social provides just that..... A roast/brunch menu, the best live sport, all the Sunday broadsheets, culminating in an early evening quiz at 6.30pm, with again great prizes to be won. We love an event at the Bal-g!! Our gourmet theatre, willie pike nights and garden parties have been hugely successful. Have you all heard about our Halloween party? Our 2 year birthday party? Please ask for all details!! December 4th, willie pikes winter wonderland, alongside Martin our exec chef, will re-create Christmas dinner, with entertainment and surprises along the way. If you havent been to one, we would seriously recommend, and if you have, then Im sure you know. Martin has freshened up the menus, Cheryl and Gavin the cocktails and drinks promos, all going well and having fantastic feedback.
