What started out as a lovely excursion of taking the dogs for a swim and doing some outdoor study turned into a bit of a scary event at Little Mulgrave beside the Mountainview Pub on the the way to the Gillies Range. Coastal Taipans were stalking the waters edge and swimming very close to a family of young boys. This Coastal Taipan was dead on the shore. I would NOT recommend taking your kids out there especially since I had no mobile phone reception.
