Hi all....have had some luck with this group, so Ill go for it again! Im a Canadian stand-up comic & producer who is bringing 3 other professional comics to the Guanacoste region Jan 26-31 for a series of shows in English (that we are doing as fundraisers). Wed like to head south (along the coast) afterwards, and head to places where we can do a minimum of 2 shows around wherever we go. So, for example, were staying in Tamarindo for several nights, doing shows in 2 different surrounding towns. We just dont want to be moving around every day. Were all professionals of varying degrees, with all of us being regular performers in clubs, and the others have done Just For Laughs, or associated comedy festivals. I run a very successful weekly show for travellers and locals here in Montreal. Were keen to help other not-for-profit causes raise funds via a comedy show for tourists, expats, backpackers, and whoever else appreciates English comedy. Were not really looking to go to San Jose, but stay along the Pacific coast. If youre involved in a charity, or own a bar or restaurant or theatre where we can put this on, please get in touch. Would love to work with people who will help us fill out the tour! If you drop me a line, please send me a link to your charity/cause or restaurant/bar. Venues should be able to hold minimum of 100 people, seated at tables. Thanks!
