Hi all, letting you all know and have a chance at adopting a Scottish Fold, they are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Please share so we can find the best homes possible! Need a few temporary fosters, due to URIs we still are treating with momma cat and kittens, I cant take any in here for at least another week, so if anyone can foster one or two for a short time for me, until the germs are gone, I would be grateful!! They will be ready to go as soon as this Saturday after I drive out to Yuma and get them Friday afternoon. Adoption donation is $200 a kitty, these guys are extremely rare and expensive kitties and need, good, loving, forever homes! Purebred Scottish Fold and Scottish Straight Cats More specific information on a certain cat can be provided upon request. All are sweet. Some are shy but coming around. None are what you would call an in your face cat like a Tonkinese would be, although they do want attention. Some follow you around like a dog. They will sit next to you and sleep with you. It is inherent in the breed that these cats will be shy at first. They need to get to know you. Cats are altered, up to date on shots, and have had a wellness checkup. If the adoption doesnt work out, we will take a cat back. Note: Scottish Folds (with folded ears) have been recognized in the Championship class of The International Cat Association (TICA) and the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) for years. Starting May 1, 2014, TICA is also recognizing the straight ear Folds for Championship. They are called Scottish Straights. Spayed Females: Bethie DOB April 12, 2012----Bethie and Bertie (see neutered male section) are siblings. We would like them to go together. Please meet Bethie, a Scottish Straight. Bethie is really a gorgeous girl. She loves to play and gets along well with other kitties and a dog. She loves to race and chase and to jump. Very athletic and healthy girl. Bethie, in the right home would become more interactive with her humans. Right now she has all the company she needs with her cat friends. Gertie DOB 2/21/2010 Gertie, a Scottish Straight, is a retired breeder. She doesnt have the usual tortitude! She is loving, attention seeking (when she sees you sitting), and loves to play with her feline friends. She is always in the thick of it when we play with toys. Likes to sit next to you and watch TV while you pet and scratch her back. Susie DOB 3/20/2008 Susie, a Scottish Straight, is a retired breeder. She was a very good mom and is a wonderful pet. She loves attention and playing with kitty toys. Enjoys interacting with other cats and her head scratched by her human(s). Altered Males: Bertie DOB April 12, 2012 Please meet Bertie, a Scottish Straight. Bertie is a very handsome loving boy. He is also active and loves to race and play with his sibling, Bethie, and Paddy. Bertie likes to lie on the couch close to you and be petted-but prefers to choose the timing. Ideally he should be placed with Bethie, his sister Paddy DOB February 20, 2012 Please meet Paddy, a Scottish Straight. Paddy is really a clown. His actions are unique and will keep you laughing. Loves to play but not to be held. Gets along very well with other cats and a dog. Paddy is buddies with Bethie and Bertie. Tweedle DOB 7/23/04 Tweedle is a Scottish Straight that still plays with toys and wants to be petted. He is a really sweet boy....likes to play with toys and be petted. He is a big boy, so sitting on a lap isnt comfortable for him--that doesnt mean he doesnt try!
