Hi all my Got Pendants friends, I want to say something about all the awareness for cancer and other diseases here on the Gots... I have so much empathy for what people have to go thru. Over the years, I have watched my family members and my friends go thru some terrible treatments. It is so very hard to watch. Some have made it thru, some havent. These pages -- Got Marbles, Got Pendants, Got Sculpture are a place that I can get away from some of that reality -- and just enjoy some art. As many of you know, I have lost many close people over the last couple of years -- I do not want to be reminded here every morning or evening - I have that enough just in my heart. And I certainly do not want anyone to imply that I do not do enough, give enough, or have awareness enough. I am aware enough to know that when one donates to large charities -- a VERY SMALL amount of that money actually goes towards research. AND often times, their research is really about what type of drug can we make, so our pharmaceutical company can make billions of dollars dragging this out longer -- not what will actually cure something. There are some amazing natural answers if we are just willing to think outside the box. Cannabis oil is being proven time and time again as an ACTUAL cure for cancer -- and many other illnesses. Also, eating a raw diet for 3 months and coffee enemas has proven to be an amazing CURE for many people. These answers take work on our own part. Maybe some research of our own. And a bit of dedication , and commitment to our own health care. I have always believed that the best preventative is eating a very healthy diet, and regular exercise. I know that the world we live in is still toxic, even if we do eat healthy and work out regularly. If you are facing cancer, or other diseases -- you are in my heart! I send you positive healing energy, thoughts and prayers. But please do not post guilt trips here that suggest that I am not aware or that I need to do more to support cancer research with people who put about 7 cents per dollar towards the actual research. They also produce cancer causing, plastic trinkets to raise awareness. Hmmmm. I have never been able to understand why the Relay for Life walks, and other cancer and disease awareness rallies, always have so much plastic garbage to give away -- have we not all agreed already that plastic itself, and the industrial plastic plants are causing a great deal of the cancer? Really? Is this new news to anyone? Support can also mean -- go give someone with cancer or extreme illness some of your time. Just visit with them, laugh and enjoy a minute. They are people, they want to have a happy moment too. Their whole world is overrun with whatever illness they are fighting. Bring a moment of light to them, help remind them of why life is good. Play a game with them. Smile with them. Donate Kindness, Happiness, Positivity!! Donate time!! Donate Art!! Please, lets keep these Gots pages about the art!! Thanx everybody!!
