Hi all, our Rottie Zak was diagnosed with Lymphoma last week. He will be turning 10 in march which for this breed is a good age for a pedigree i believe. After discussing it as a family we have decided to keep him on the steroids and not put him through more biopsies and Chemo, it is lovely to see that the lumps have reduced in size and he is rewinding some of his recent signs of ageing (although in his head he has always thought he is still a puppy!) my brief searches online are telling me this wont last long so i really want to build him up where i can. The biggest problem we have is that most days he isnt interested in his food and just grazes all day. Hes had dry food all his life and weve changed nothing. id also like to try and condition his diet to better help him out.... Can anyone give me some fairly simple ideas on spicing up his food to bring back his appetite without drastically hiking up my food bill (Im recently redundant) and helping us get more time with him?
