Hi all, sorry not updated for a while, me and kian have been in and out of hospital for a while, we were going in everyday for over a week as kian was vomiting and wouldnt tolerate any feeds, doctors asked me to stop the feed and put him on dioralite which is a fluid to prevent kian from dehydrating and to also give kians tummy a rest he also got put on an extra antisickness med. After doing this he got loads better but we still had to go in as kians central line wasnt working (line that sits in the top of his heart artery to give blood/platelets/medicines and also take blood) nurses tried to unblock it with a special liquid but had no look, so kian had to get an xray to see what was wrong.. the xray showed the line was kinked which was the part thats in the lower of his neck- we then got admitted for a couple of nights so kian could go under General anisthetic so they could get the kink out, they had no luck with this, so had to replace the line with a new one... We also had days in hospital before then for and ECG and and an ultrasound on kians heart!! We got out of hospital saturday afternoon but we are back in again tonight for GD2 (immunotherapy) During our very short times out, we made the most of it as we always do :-) we went for a meal with our friends at #metrocentre took katie and kian on the little train :-) Went to another event for kian with our good friends emma&scott where our amazing friend #amyridley (age 15) who wrote and sung such a lovely song for kian called #realise) was at the event, the event was also for cancer research too, so whatever was raised will be split in the middle. What a lovely day it was, kids loved it and also loved playing in the park together, BIG MASSIVE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART, MUCH APPRECIATED!! After the event we went for a lovely chinese meal together with our friends emma&scott again :-) big thank you to yous too for all our lovely times out together, help with fundraising and supporting us right through!!
