Hi all, we are leaving the country so once our home sells I will need to sell my lovely boy, had planned to keep him for ever,. But what can I ask? Big gentleman/schoolmaster. 1996 gelding by Contact (Holsteiner) Stallion from Anglo mare. Approx 17.2 to 17.3hh (I am 6ft tall so he doesnt look so big with me on him) . He has had a successful jumping career (winning at EA C grade and 6 bar) and for the last couple of years has been doing dressage, working novice/elementary, with awesome laterals etc. He was the horse I planned to keep for ever but we are selling up and moving overseas. He is very big and free moving, so maybe not for a beginner but a decent rider will find him easy. Though he is now 18 he is still very sound and healthy with good feet and legs. He can be left for months and get on and he is just the same. Only in light work now when I hop on and go for a ride, but could be brought back into full work and jump 1m plus or event to prelim easily. I love this horse and will be fussy about where he goes, I don’t want him in a school facility; he likes to be one person’s horse and will make a deep connection with you as he has me. I want him in a forever home. Easy everything (apart from clipping!), shoe, (he has front shoes only) catch, float (need a big one!) etc,. No itch. Currently on mid north coast of NSW. What could I ask and still be fussy about where he goes?
