Hi all, wed like to thank everyone who takes the time to post reports and photos to our page. We do collect the severe weather, flooding, and snowfall reports, and send them in a local storm report. That data then goes into an official database called Storm Data that is part of the National Climate Data Center. The insurance industry, the USDA, researchers, disaster experts etc use that information. Remember, if no one tells us what happened, it officially didnt happen. :) These two images show examples of the publication that is created with all the reports in it, and how the October 2005 early season snowstorm was the Storm of the Month.
