Hi and good morning. After you read the DMV guide book, you will need to go to nearest DMV office in your county/city to pass the test. You can find the nearest DMV office by GPS or by help of your friends. In there, you will pay $33 to be allowed to pass the written test. It is for 3 chances you may have the written test, in case you fail in first and second test. Once passed the written test, if you have your Afghanistan driving license, you will be given a temporary license that can be renewed 4 times. Each time have 2.5 months validation period and by which you can drive alone anywhere.
