Hi and welcome to our newbies. A bit about us: We are a not for profit group run by a committee of 6 homeschool mums who volunteer their time totally unpaid to provide opportunities for homeschool kids of all ages. We are based in the Rockingham and Mandurah areas but we are all inclusive and all who are willing to travel are welcome to join our activities. Our Aim: To provide affordable extra curricular activities for homeschooled children. What we do: Find and negotiate with proffessional teachers to run classes for homeschoolers within school hours and at reasonable prices (below commercial rates) Fundraise, apply for grants and manage any excess funds in order to reduce fees and provide discounts for families and those with children who are enrolled in mulitple classes. Organise excursions and incursions (mostly free where possible) This is really just scratching the surface without even mentioning all the behind the scenes work that has to be done to keep everything running smoothly. We have really great teachers who love wokring with our homeschooled kids and are passionate about their specific proffessions. Some of our classes are full and have waiting lists.
