Hi and welcome to the group. Im Anna and I moved to Australia from Sweden in 2001 after I had met an Australian. To make a long story short we had 3 children two boys and a girl aged 9,7 and soon to be 6. The children were all born here in Australia but have dual citizenship. During my time here in Australia I have really struggled to settle in, I love Australia but its so far away from home and In the 14 years Ive been here Ive only been home once! Anyway, my partner decided a few months ago that he didnt want to stay in the relationship, oh yes and that was after he had mismanaged his business so to the extent that he was declared bankrupt and did I mention my name was on the business for tax purposes so he dragged me down with him! I want nothing more than to go home to Sweden and bring my three children, but he wont let me. I feel I dont have any future here in Australia and especially not because of the financial mess hes put me in. I dont have a lot of emotional support here either as Ive been home with the children the whole time Ive been here and dont have a big network of friends. I feel so isolated and lonely!!
