Hi eddie and mairead! could you do me a favour and post this anon? ive been waiting for rent allowance since the start of november, gave in all that they asked for including 6 months previous rent paid, and then they came back to me telling me i need to be on the housing list, i went to apply for the housing list and when i rang them i was told because im on the 100 euro social welfare payment that i somehow will not be eligible for the housing list so not to bother. I then rang the rent allowance people and told them what i had been told and they said they would put me in under special circumstances, after not hearing anything then since early december i rang them back today, got a different response saying i would definitely have to be on the housing list so i rang back the housing list and got a different person who told me i should definitely apply to be on the housing list. Being messed around and just wondering if anyone has any ideas or if they have been in the same boat and know what i should do! thanks
