Hi everybody! I know I have been surprisingly silent as of late, - TopicsExpress

Hi everybody! I know I have been surprisingly silent as of late, and for that I apologize. It’s just that the Lord has put something very serious on my heart that I felt the need to clarify with you all. In some of my posts, I get the feeling that some of God’s people feel as though I am waging war against God’s church. FAR FROM IT! Please allow me to explain… In the end times (The time that I feel we are living in) the Bible gives us some insight on what the people are going to be like. When you read these verses I’ve listed for you below, you may notice some of these people are within our churches. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (KJV) 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (False workers within our pulpits that are actually Satan’s ministers, trying to lead God’s people astray) 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV) 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (A FALLING AWAY PERIOD from faith in God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. This is considered the Great Apostasy from the Christian faith) 2 Timothy 3:5 (KJV) 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (This verse talks about people having a FORM of godliness, but denying the POWER thereof. When I think about churches that do this, I think of all those churches that don’t believe in speaking in tongues, casting out demons, laying on of hands for healing, etc. All these things I mentioned come with the POWER of the Holy Spirit. If you remember, when Jesus told His disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit, He told them that they would receive POWER once the Holy Spirit came upon them. Acts 1:8. What is this power? It is the things that Jesus mentioned in Mark 16:17-18- cast out devils, speak with new tongues, being able to take up serpents like when Paul was bit by a viper and survived, be able to drink anything deadly and it won’t hurt them, and lay hands upon the sick and they will recover. When we say these things don’t exist, we deny the Power of the Holy Spirit.) 2 Timothy 4:3 (KJV) 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (This is talking about all those people that are not willing to part with the sin in their lives, so instead they write their own Bibles, misquote verses, and only listen to preachers that don’t preach a message of repentance) 1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV) 4 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (This is talking about all those false religions out there that are in reality being run by Satan. And there are MANY of them. Jesus gave us an example of one when He said in John 16:2 that there will be a time that when these fanatics kill Christians, they will think they are doing God service. Hmmm… Where is this happening? Oh, I don’t know… Maybe every part of the world right now where Christians are experiencing extreme persecution.) I don’t know whether you understood or not, but all these things are bad. THESE are the things that I am speaking out against. However, there is one church… The Good and Faithful Church that Jesus said He would build and the Gates of Hell would NOT prevail against. (Matthew 16:18) This is the church we should be seeking out with all our hearts. A church that is not afraid to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) A church that fulfills Jesus’ command to Love one another. (John 13:34-35) A church that does not deny the POWER of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 4:31 and Mark 16:17-18) And a church that has a GENUINE equipping of the saints for ministry. Not equipping our flocks for the art of being entertained week after week or not being serious to rear up preachers in our congregations, because we fear they are going to take our jobs away. I mean a GENUINE equipping of the saints for MINISTRY. (Ephesians 4:11-16) You may notice in this passage, that no one was called into the Body of Christ to sit on the bench and be a spectator. ALL Christians are Disciples of Jesus Christ and are called into the Body to do their part. God bless you all and I love you…
