Hi everybody. Our Para-archers had quite an odyssey to arrive Stoke in England for the international archery competition. After 7 intensive days of preparation her at my archery range in Brasilia, our 3 mosquetiers, Luciano, Francisco and Diogo, traveled on Friday from Brasilia to São Paulo to take the Lufthansa airplane to London passing by Frankfurt. But the plane had mechanical problems and so, after 8 hours weighting, they ended up taking the TAP plane passing by Lisbon and then to London, where they arrived at 10:00 PM. Since I could not reach tem by phone nor by e-mail, I could not pass to them the phone number of Kevin in England, and so, they ended up stranded in London without their luggage and bows (they took another flight to arrive today on Sunday). Quite a trip. Our 3 adventurers, took a bus to downtown London, then a cab to the railway station and from there a train to Stoke to arrive at 1:00 AM in the morning. Today they are after their bows and luggage. Tomorrow will be the 1st competition day. Let us hope everything is well, and they are cool enough for the 1st day. After Stoke, the 3 are travelling to Check Republic to the second international event. In Check Patricia, another Para-archer from brazil be weighting them. Congratulations for all 4 great Para-archers and lots of gold and lots of medals.
