Hi everybody ~ Update on my moms: Mom is going to survive this, The doctors havent said that but after being with her yesterday she was very much more alert of my presence. I think she is super depressed. I told her not to be and that she can still have a good quality of life. She just kept shaking her head NO! I told her she could have died if we didnt do this and how I need her to stick around. Right now she cant talk, (because she has a ventilator doing the breathing for her) which is good because she would probably be raising hell right now. The doctor did say the infection is not gone and it damaged her kidneys as well. Mom will probably have to go to a rehabilitation place after this (she thinks they are nursing homes) but I have reassured her if she follows the program she will be able to come home and live a normal life. Right now I am just continuing to pray for her state of mind to be more positive, and for her body to heal. It really amazes me how so many people just reach out and texted and FBd me just to send me some love. I stayed with my Aunt and she was amazed how much I am loved by my friends. And my friends are really my friends we are family not just on FB I told her. I told her we show up for eachother round here! Love you guys lots
