Hi everyone. A BIG THANKS to everyone who came out and enjoyed the waters of Lake Vernon and the Big East River yesterday. It was great to meet all the paddlers and their spectator/support crews. With 58 boats/88 paddlers on the water, we had an amazing showing. A special thanks for continuing to support our event. We are glad that you all had a wonderful time and arrived home safe. Check out the results in the post below. We will be getting some photos up shortly so you can all relive the experience. Thanks to Algonquin Outfitters for all of their logistical support and prizing, HandCraftedCanoes for the beautiful Nith River prize boat, and Badger Paddle for The Bling, our sparkly gold handmade 1st Place paddle medals. We cant forget Ski Patrol and our Emerg Team for making sure everyone was safe. We plan on taking a few days off and then were off to finalizing plans for the Muskoka River X. And just for the record....the river was flowing at 25m3/sec yesterday :)
