Hi everyone, Arrived back in Mauritius last night, the RedBull - TopicsExpress

Hi everyone, Arrived back in Mauritius last night, the RedBull CPD final was amazing, the logistics were incredible. Unfortunately I didn’t manage to test the car again after all the little problems of the night before as everything stayed the same and none of the problems got attended by the assistance team so I had to drift the car as is. I was a bit discouraged because of all that but luckily I got cheered up by some of the participants, my wife, friends who came from Mauritius and all the new friends I made there. I was 100% again and hell with it I just went for it with peace of mind and did my best to represent our little island. Everything went fine, just battled a bit with the heavy steering and really had to concentrate to reach the hand brake every time as it was on the opposite side than I am use to plus the hand brake feeling wasnt what I am use too, had to really pull hard and tap the pedal break at the same time for it to work properly. I was very happy that I managed to finish the run and not break anything.. Just a bit sad that I wasn’t able to put up the show I was planning on but on the other hand I came back rich in experience to share with all the petrol heads of Mauritius. I have also learned to be VERY patient, in Mauritius for a lot of people 1 hour means 2 to 3 hours but there I learned that 1 hour can sometime mean 2 to 3 days…LOL I would like to thank Red Bull team Mauritius especially Fabrice Pierre, All the RedBull staff that organized the event, my wife Aurelie, Mauritian friends who were there to cheer me up, Abdo Feghali who really encouraged me, all the new friends I made especially Russlan and Fadi, all the people who sent me cheer up messages and anyone I forgot to mention. Thanks to all.
