Hi everyone, Bullet here. I hope you are sitting down because I have the most AMAZING news to share! My new Mom, Marie, is just the best. Worth the wait. A-#1, primo person. You will not believe what she did to help me! I was staying at a vet clinic in Las Vegas waiting for a home to go to. She offered hers, but she lives in Montana. So, how does a girl like me get to Montana, you ask? Marie got on an airplane, flew to Las Vegas, rented a car, skipped the casinos and shows and came straight over to pick me up. We had a great road trip north to Montana and I got to stay in a hotel room and everything! SO exciting for a girl who was left for dead a few months ago at a kill shelter. I now weigh 65 pounds, down from 105 a few months ago. The volunteers and foster homes of SMW made that happen. I took my medicines like a good girl and swam like a dolphin in a pool. Im feeling pretty good these days and am grateful to be alive after 13 years of a very different life. My new Mom is calling me Ellie, so I guess Im really getting started on a new life all around. Im settling into my new home just fine, meeting all of the other dogs and cats. As you can see, they are making sure Im comfortable. Ill stay in touch and GREATLY appreciate everything that was done to get me this far. XOXOXO Ellie (formerly Bullet)
