Hi everyone! Heres a suggestion. If you dont fully understand the amendment that the legislature and the executive branch wants you to vote on, Vote NO! If you do, and agree to it then vote YES. Simple right? Our constitution has withstood the test of time. Why change it now? Please ask yourselves this question. I have listened to both sides of this argument. Gambling is already ILLEGAL in our Yap state code. ETG IS NOT the enemy. We have ourselves to blame for getting into this mess. NO ONE CAN TAKE YOU OFF YOUR LAND! NOT EVEN THE GOVERNMENT! CCG YAP, and so many other countless acronyms, are arguing and fighting each-other and for what? What good has come of it? Has it changed anything? No one has stopped to ask, what are we doing? We call ourselves christians and yet we dont practice what we preach. What have we become? I will use a very famous movie from my childhood to share what we have become today. The movie, The Gods must be crazy! That coke bottle fell into their village. Greed, jealousy and hatred was spewed from an inanimate lifeless object that simply changed their way of life. The look on their faces when they felt ashamed of what they had done to each other only in a matter of days...priceless. I stand to gain nothing from this post except a chance for all of us to stop for a moment and THINK! Take what you will from it, analyze it, let it sink in. If i had said something that might have upset you all you good people, then Im sorry. Scary nights like tonight make you think about the monsters we all have within. Srow ma kamagar gad.
