Hi everyone! Hope youve all been well. We missed most of you last Tuesday at youth where we reflected on the people in our lives who always has our back and continues to support us in all our struggles and joys in life, and prayed in thanks to God for creating them - as this Sundays 2nd Reading reminds us to, Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thes 5:16-18). As we all get caught up in this hectic and crazy time in December - all the functions, Christmas parties, get-togethers; running around from one thing to another + all the last minute gift-buying and preparations for family gatherings, remember to pause for just a moment to reflect and give thanks to God for all His great blessings. For, He isnt just the reason for the season but He is the reason for everything - the One who has loved us, called us and saved us - for a purpose. So perhaps, we should all take some time to breathe, and allow ourselves to be loved by the God of all creation. He is faithful. He has called us. He certainly will not fail us (Fr Richard Healey). Hope youre having a joyful and happy Advent season, preparing your hearts for the coming of Christ Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. See you all next Tuesday!
