Hi everyone. I am a gourd artist who has been dabbling with adding pine needle coiling and weaving to my gourds. Id like some opinions from yall if you would. Here is a pic of a gourd and needle plate I just finished. It is 11 in dia. The gourd piece is a lil over 5 in dia. I have no idea how to price this piece. It took me way longer to cool than I thought it would. I dont think Im that slow, thats my other concern, is pine needle coiling is very time consuming to yall? Thanks for any input yall can share. I do an art show once a month and I know prices vary on different areas. The area I show and sell at are not afraid to pay for handmade original art works. I really need some direction in this.
