Hi everyone! I am from Arizona and am looking forward to attending UC Berkeley. I do not consider myself a super genius (probably received some of the worst SAT scores here). I am simply a dedicated kid who has worked hard and tried his hardest to make the right decisions for himself. Honestly, I am a bit intimidated by the idea of attending Berkeley, but after seeing some interactions on Facebook, it seems like there is a very supportive student body. I love to learn and am absolutely amazed by science. More specifically, I plan on having a career that involves the brain and I will hopefully be majoring in cognitive science. I’m not sure if I am going to take the medical route or the research route, but I will be happy either way. I love horror movies (Halloween, Friday the 13th, Silence of the Lambs, Sinister, etc.) as well as countless T.V. shows (basically anything on USA Network). When I don’t feel like working my brain while watching T.V. I will watch shows such as Workaholics or The League just for the basic humor. I love The Big Bang Theory (you just have to get over the laugh track). I used to make short little YouTube videos about the most random stuff you could imagine. I took two years of media production but I rarely make videos anymore. I will admit I spend more time watching videos on YouTube than I do watching T.V. I played tennis for 13 years. I was a varsity tennis player during my first two years of high school (part of one of the best doubles teams in the state), but suffered from about 4 different injuries, so I was forced to quit. I am openly Atheist (raised Jewish). I love listening to hip hop because of the high energy and clever wordplay and flows. As you can see, I am very open and honest. I would definitely consider myself weird, but like Aristotle said, “No great mind has ever existed without a touch of madness.” I am sure there are other weirdos out there, so lets all just be weird together!
