Hi everyone, I am letting all of you know that we were sent home today! Jaspers ANC counts dropped 600 points in less than 24 hours and our oncologist thinks that it may have been from his oral chemo that he receives here at home. We will be stopping this drug until next week hoping that it will keep his counts steady and hopefully going up. This was not to be expected today and it was day full of questions and asking especially if this means that his leukemia is coming back. It is not. All his other counts are up and are fairly normal, thank goodness! Jasper has been playing and eating and using his imagination like no other so this too we know he is not sick with anything else to effect his anc. Bunny is not lost, he was found twice over within the last four days :) What I had meant before is that it may come up again so if it does, then please know his story too.
