Hi everyone. I am so excited to announce that we reached and surpassed the goal of raising $750 since last Friday to help the horses! As of today we are actually just shy of $1,000 before adding in the matched $750 which will be given to Cindy tomorrow. WOW! You are all amazing. I should have known to expect nothing less from Woodlawners! One of the main lessons I learned in my 13 years at Woodlawn was that you always put the health and well being of the horses first, and you all have done that with your support this week! I also learned that the bonds of true friendship and friend-family (or framily) ties stay strong forever, and you have proven that, too. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, and from Cindy and the horses, for helping Cindy ensure that the horses continue to get what they need though this transition time for the business. I cant thank you enough and just encourage you to remember that the needs wont stop here. The $1500 goal was set by me and doesnt necessarily reflect all the needs of the horses for the fall and through the winter. If you meant to contribute but havent yet, please still consider doing so even though the match has been met. And if you cant contribute, thats ok, there are other ways to help! Spread the word about Claddagh Farm so that people are ready to start lessons as soon as they are available. Consider the leasing options available now (talk to Cindy for the details) or just consider helping in any other way you can if you want to and are able.
