I did a Google advanced search on the picture of that beheaded child and found out that its quite old Heres one dated Sep. 16, 2012. documentingreality/.../child-beheaded.../ Herere even older copies of that same picture: Nov 14, 2008 vb.almahdyoon.org/showthread.php?t=20656 Feb 24, 2009 evilbecametrue.tumblr/ We do not have direct knowledge of what is going on. Whats certain is that shocking pictures are being used. Ive heard a talk given by a former Photojournalist-turned-advocate-of-peace...of what is called the CNN Effect and the Dead-Babies-Stories...its very much used in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict and other wars. It seems to be intended to win support on one side of the conflict and sow hate against the enemy. But no one can verify the truth behind the pictures...whether that child is a Christian, a Muslim, an Israeli, a Palestinian...are we even sure if thats really a child...or a doll...or if that picture is from a real incident...or staged (dramatized). Let us all be vigilant. We need to be empowered...be more discerning and promote media and information literacy. Please let us not allow ourselves to be used to sow more hatred. -Jo Jo C
