Hi everyone. I have a male Sheltie I am trying to rehome. He is 4 years old and sable in color. He is great with kids of any age, cats, horses, and other dogs of any size. He is current on shots through the end of 2013, but we havent gotten his 2014 shots done yet. He is very well behaved and knows a few really cute tricks!! The only thing he does wrong is bark----a lot. Which is typical for his breed, but unfortunately is also the reason we have to rehome him. We have gotten multiple noise complaints from our neighbors despite trying everything we can think of from bark collars to muzzles to rehoming him to a good friend of ours who lived in the country. Said friend recently lost her house and we took Blitz back, but would like to find a FOREVER Sheltie-ready home for him. Our last stitch effort is to start saving up money for a vocal reduction surgery if we cannot find a perfect home for him before we get the money saved up. We will not let him go to just any home, and ANY home we let him go to would have to sign a contract stating they would give him back to us should they nolonger be able to keep him. We do not want this wonderful little guy to be bounced from home to home, he deserves much better and we feel like absolute crap that we are even trying to rehome a dog we took in as a forever family member. But sometimes things happen. So, since the last person who took him ended up not working out for financial reasons, we will be asking for a small rehoming fee since we strongly feel that if you are willing to pay for a dog you would be better able and willing to afford his care. We are not trying to sell our dog so much as be assured he goes to a home that is financially prepared to care for a dog. I will post pictures ASAP but wanted to post something to see if I can generate any interest in my lovely little man!!
