Hi everyone, I hope you can help me. Yesterday, my iPhone 5 (Smart locked) couldnt lock into Smarts network signal. It shuffles between: 3G, Smart, and Searching... status. But mostly just searching. I called their customer service dept several times and went to a satellite business office to exhausted all troubleshooting steps without success. The only course of action that was mentioned to me was to bring it to an authorized service center. My phone is already out of warranty and I know bringing it to an authorized center will burn a deep hole on my pocket. My questions are 1. Does anyone had a similar situation and was able to resolve it? It seems Folks here are more knowledgeable as Ive observed. 2. If I were to have it repaired, anyone have an idea how much will it cost me? Any other options better than an authorized service center? 3. Below is a screenshot where it shows that for network, it says Not Available. Rep told me that I should not try to restore my phone as doing so might brick it. Is this true? I apologize for the lengthy message. Im still hoping you could help. Any input id well appreciated. Thank you in advance.
