Hi everyone, I just wanted to take a moment and talk about what to do when you find a pet, Twice now I have witness pets found and rehomed in the same post, and this truly hurts my heart, especially when the people doing so have no regard for the pet or the people that will soon be missing their family member, and will never know what happened to it. Please dont judge and feel an animal is uncared for or neglected because it is running loose, things happen that we cannot control sometimes. Before just giving away a pet you find, look at your own pet and ask yourself how you would feel if it happened to yours. If you find a pet and cannot keep it long enough to find its owner, please take a picture of it post that you found it and where and take it to your nearest shelter, or call animal control, give both a chance to find their families. Both of the pets i spoke of earlier haunt me and there is nothing i can do as the people that rehomed them feel they did the right thing. I hurt for the pet and I hurt for the owner that possibley will never know what happened to their friend, they will always wonder what happened to it, if its alive if its hungry cold and scared, please keep all of this in mind, and the pet will not understand what happened to its people its home and why they never came back or looked for it. Thank you for your time, maybe i just get to emotionally involved in these lost furry friends :)
