Hi everyone. I know FB boundaries are really not easily defined, but in most cases where Ive felt the need to say it out loud - I have. What I choose to share freely with the world, I do, through my writings and videos. Beyond that youre asking me to get personal and devote my time and attention to you. Please understand that I get a lot of requests like this, and if I were to attend to them all, I would not have time to do my own work - and I love doing the work that I do. I know many people are interested in astrology, but please understand that I cannot explain to individuals on a one-to-one basis or look up their natal charts to tell them how energies affect them personally. These are time consuming, energy intensive services. I have had people giving me their birth charts and suggesting I look at them, which I do not - as it is a time consuming, energy intensive process which - at the very least - if you were interested in learning about it should not be something you ask for free. Would you go to a doctors/dentist/psychiatrist/counselors office and ask for free treatment or surgery? I think not. Its the same kind of logic. There needs to be greater respect for the work that spiritualists do in general. ( Moreover, a lot of the basics of astrology are available on-line, for free, through many websites - including my own. Google is your friend. ) Now another thing I do not do - is to sit and patiently listen why you are the saddest person on earth because your girlfriend is meeting another guy - this came from pretty much a random stranger on the internet just now. There are holistic counselors and therapists that can help you with that kind of stuff - seek out that help if you need it, or talk to a close friend if you want a shoulder to cry on. If youre needing help shifting perspective, or trying to understand what it all means - thats a different issue. If you have a spiritual query, I usually try to guide people to places they can find answers - whether thats in themselves or a helpful website. If its an issue that youve done a little background reading on, and would like another view, then feel free to ask - theres no harm in asking for knowledge. If you have a prayer request for someone in need of healing (in hospital,etc.) , feel free to tell me and Ill put the word out. But I am really not here to be anyones personal counselor, guide or guru - I cannot emphasize that enough - and if you have been following my writings you know that I do not believe in that kind of hierarchical guru-student dynamic either. You are your own teacher. We are teachers waking up together. My philosophy is: Never put anyone on a pedestal, not even yourself. For you can teach just as others can teach you - for we are all equals in the Circle. If anything, I hope that my writings and work help people to empower themselves than becoming dependent upon anyone else. I hope this is cool with everyone, but I do think Im being fair about this. And if this doesnt apply to you at all, please do not get offended by it. But Ive seen a spike in these kinds of requests in the past few days for me not to say anything about it.
