Hi everyone! I know I have not been on for a long time. I want to congratulate everyone that have new babies in their lives, have had anniversaries, birthdays etc.. I have been having a few health issues in the past 4 months that I have not shared. Started w/ hives all over my body that required prednisone for 4 weeks. Mid May found a lump in my left breast that I ignored till the end of June due to the fact after the school yr, ended I started to nanny for the summer---did not even tell Hal about It. Finally went to the docs had the mammogram that was follow with an ultra sound and the docs determined it was fatty tissue and not cancer. When I told Hal about it, he was so happy no cancer, but angry that I had not told him. Was elated until my eyes started hurting really bad and were bright red. Went to the eye doctor and I have a relapse of the iritis, in both eyes, back to prednisone drops and still have bad cells in my left eye and still on drops for another 3 weeks. Finally more intensive tests to see what the root of all my problems was--- diagnosed with Lupus, which is what killed my sister!!! Needless to say, I have been concentrating on feeling better and not sooooo fatigue 24/7 or scare. Thinking very positive, very excited for our new school year and praying that I continue to improve and go into remission, both w/ the eyes and lupus. Anyway, hope to start catching up with everyone and I truly apologize for any event that I have missed in you lives. I also have to thank my hubby, Nora, my daughter, and sister for listening, letting me cry and vent with them. LOVE you guys
