Hi everyone! I want to share with you all that I am about to embark on a new adventure. It does not have to do with my acting career, but rather another passion of mine, pursuing my degree in political science. I am honored to have been accepted to be in Hong Kong for a month with a major international news agency. Over the last couple of years I have received backlash for my decisions to turn down certain acting projects in order to pursue my university education. But for every critique I have gotten, there have been dozens more encouraging words of support. My choices in no way diminish my love nor my desire to continue to work as an actress for as long as I am able. When I first was accepted into university I didnt want to go. I didnt think I would be able to balance both acting and school, and to be honest, I didnt think I needed a college education to be an actress. But one thing I have learnt over these few years is that I do not need to choose between the two. I am on my own path, and that is ok. College has taught me to think differently, opened my mind, and educated me about the world, all things that will make me an even better actress. I hope through my actions I can lead by example. We should not be confined to a box. Study, travel, explore - it will only enrich your life, it will never hold you back.
