Hi everyone I want to start off by saying. I dont have ALS. But I know of someone that does and through out this whole icebucketchallenge, we got to know someone to!! His name Pete Frates if you dont know who he is Google it? He was a Normal man just like us in till this ALS took over his life, and all the people around him. Let me get off this subject for a minute, So I can have everyone understand a bit better? We might not know some that has ALS, but we might know some that has pancreatic cancer cervical cancer leukemia parkinsons disease and tons of other terrifying death-defying illnesses that dont only take over the people that have it but it takes over the peoples family struggling everyday of there life not knowing that they cant help them with the pain. I know how that feels because my mom has COPD and its hard for her to breathed and just to see her struggle every single day to take a deep breath it hurts me its like her not breathing makes me not breathed!! So and my mom being in the hospital this year five times in a row and just knowing that the last time was terrifying expecting every phone call that you might get to be bad news. So what Pete Frates was symbolizing with the ice bucket challenge was something that he knew he couldnt do so he wanted to get other people to do it to show awareness to ALS but at the end he did do the ice bucket challenge just to show people that he was thankful for what everybody was doing not just for him but ALS. Now on the donating aspect of raising money for ALS you dont have to give $100. I understand in this world and economy and how we are struggling with money and how it is its just to show awareness in many ways!! I know you might be saying who are you to tell us what to do. Im nobody but im just telling you as a human being this is a disease that could come to anybody including us? So wouldnt you want them to find a cure for it!! Just remember one thing all the money in the world will not bring you happiness and if youre sick you can enjoy that money so whats the point??? Last night I was home, and I was checking out all these new ice bucket challenges, I was wondering how I could help further with this crusade with ALS and I came up with this video with this ice cube in the water and I hope everybody likes it and I hope everybody shares it and I hope everybody understands that its not just ALS its every disease out there we all have to make a difference.....) I also added our song Sunshine on this video, Not for a gimmick or any thing like that. Just to show people happiness and uplifting spirit!! Because thats what everybodys been saying about this song. So money that will be raised with this song there will be a bigger donation added to it!! Im doing this in the kindness of my heart and I believe if you help somebody you will be awarded tenfold, Plus I know how his mom and dad must feel because I know how I feel with my mom with her COPD so lets help if we can!!!
