Hi everyone, Im sorry its taken so long for me to post an update! After a really long dry spell (and writing a song I wasnt sure was good enough to share), I finally have a new song in the works! Theres a funny story behind this new song. See, I was playing at the Monroe Farmers Market this Spring when an elderly couple walked by. The man asked me if Id ever heard the song Three Star Waitress in a One Horse Town, and said it was a really good country song about a wannabe country singer who works as a waitress at Cracker Barrel. I said Id never heard of that song, but Id Google it later. Then he said that isnt a real song, its just a song title that came to him. He said, There ya go, an idea for a new song! For months Ive been wanting to turn his brilliant idea into a real song, and now its finally taking shape in my head. If I ever talk to him again, Ill have to thank him for the inspiration.
