Hi everyone... Its been a couple of days since my last entry, but Laura has done a great job filling you all in. The past 24 hours have been challenging to say the least for navy specific reasons. Here are some lessons Ive learned and I want to make it clear to April and her family the following things: 1) tensions can be tight and sensitivities are raw at times, and I regret that I get down in the dumps and say things I dont mean. I guess as April endures frustration, and in turn I endure frustration, I have projected that onto Others and thats not fair. 2) its about April, and not me. Feelings are going to be hurt, and its important not to be a baby about it and stay strong for her sake. She loves me, and I love her family, and thats not changing. I know I need to relax more and not get so worried if shes going to get mad at something. 3). April has a great family who cares and wants to be there every step. Theyve become like blood family to me and I would do anything for them. They may not realize this but I love them and I hope Im not getting on their nerves. April is resting today... She had a big and productive week. She looks so beautiful and peaceful lying there. She has has her ups and downs but its to be expected. Oh, and no more shots in the belly for the blood clot, they are putting her on more of a step down medicine for the clot. We are in full rehab mode and shes doing great! Please keep the prayers coming. We need them now more than ever. Thank guys!
