Hi everyone: Just a reminder that we will have practice this Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 9am on Questa Grass Field, adjacent to the soccer field where we practiced a couple of weeks ago. I will be down one assistant coach for sure on Saturday so I may need to enlist the help of a parent or two if any of you want to volunteer? Since it is our last practice before the season starts, we will cover many things and still try to get you all out of there in a hour or so. Also, unfortunately, I will be unable to host the extra hitting session at my home tomorrow night, but we might be able to squeeze something in next week. I will keep you posted. Here are a few housecleaning items from the league I wanted to bring you all in the loop on: -If you have not provided your release form to me or the league, please bring it to practice on Saturday. They have to be received by the league before the season starts or your child cannot take the field. -If you have not yet paid your registration fees, please make sure you pay league as soon as possible or your child will not be issued a jersey. -I should be getting uniforms from the league this Sunday and I will figure out the best way to get all of you your jerseys, hats, belts, and socks as soon as possible shortly thereafter. Each player will be responsible for providing their own pants. Please purchase gray baseball pants to match the uniforms. -I will be attending a coaches meeting with the league this Sunday to go over the T Ball B ground rules. Once I have the finalized rules, I will email out so all of you can get familiarized with them and the T Ball B format. -Team and individual photos will be held on April 12, 2014. Pictures will be taken just prior to our scheduled game time that day, which is 9am. More information will be forthcoming once I have it. -Opening Ceremonies will begin Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 9am. It will be similar to last year, with booths and jumpy houses.
