Hi everyone! Mark here! What a rainy day! I hope everyone is staying nice and dry! I was telling a student recently about how important American football is in the United States. When my friend came to visit me in Tokyo, we often talked about football and it reminded me of home. The football season is almost over. There are only 2 more games this weekend until the championship, known as the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl is by far the most watched event on television and the commericals sell for over 1,000,000$/second! People usually invite their friends over and watch the game together. It is always a big party and some people even say that Super Bowl Sunday should be considered a national holiday. Unfortunately for me, it is rather difficult to watch the games on TV because they air at 5AM in Japan and I dont know of anywhere that is open and showing the games.
