Hi everyone, Meowmy heard from Open Doors, the family interested in Magellan has not called back. The lady interested in Jessica is still being considered but seems unlikely to get approved. Magellan and Jessica will be going to an expo type show Saturday and to Grahms Depot on Sunday. I believe you can donate $25 towards the adoption fee, or provide funds for a going home care package containing carrier/bed/food/litter/toys. Meowmy is feeling a little better today notz as sadz. She is sitting next to the open window getting air and sunshine. A kind friend sent meowmy some green papers for a treat and she bought herself a lovely large parrot pin that she has been keeping an eye on at Ruby Lane for almost a year, and today she gotz it 1/2 price. Meowmy will post a picture when it arrives or if she can download from the site. Meowmy sayz she needs more pins that are big cause with her being rubenesque, the little pins get lost, that is why she often wears 2 or 3 at one time. The remaining gift of green papers is for daddy to buy himself something....a book or dvd or cd, or maybe some slippers to protect his tootzies from the kitten claws, mewhehe. Due to the kindness of our furriends here, meowmy wrote and daddy mailed out a check today for our first car payment a few dayz early and was able to include another payment, so actually the first 2 payments have been mailed. Meowmy and daddy would lubs to mail 2 payments every month and get that stoopid payment done with!! Daddy has not heard from the two interviews he had last week, but he did get a call and has an interview tomorrow morning in Northbrook. Tonite, meowmy and daddy are having bangers (RJ Balson & Sons) and mash. Our English furriends know what they iz.....mewhehe. Meowmy was told they call these sausages bangers cause you bang after mew eat them.... Tomorrow meowmy iz going to try and make herself contact Home Bound, a company that helpz people like mewomy, contact her pcp doctor for a note saying she needz a wheelchair, as well as some home help with house chores. She also has to try and talk to the wound dr. about getting a better brace or physical therapy for her ankle so she can get out of the house, Pleeze purray for her to be motivated and not too much pain. Meowmy collects Coca cola memorabilia, teapots, and cat pins. She also loves to read mysteries, especially cat mysteries. Daddy collects fountain pens, watches and likes listening to George Carlin or Bill Cosby.
