Hi everyone, My name is Bernardo and I got here in January 2014. I am Brazilian, so I kind of faced the same issues that you guys are probably facing right now. So, I would like to give you some tips that might help you guys to enjoy better your studying abroad program. First, the best way to save money in transportation here is using the Uber App or Lift App. Both you can download from your smartphone. This is a free App, and your first ride is free. Also, if you recommend these apps to someone else, you and the guest get a free ride as well. Second, the night life in Tempe is very good. In my opinion it is the best place to practice your English and meet new people. You can use Lift or Uber to get in Tempe. Third and last, I would like to invite everybody here that is 21 or older to go to The Vine on Thursday. It is a pub at 801 Apache Boulevard. It gets busy around 10:00 pm. Usually a lot of Brazilians and Americans go to this bar and its always fun there. I hope you enjoy this time in Arizona, this place is amazing!
