Hi everyone! My one female rat has a cut just outside of her eye, its not on the eye directly, but there is some dried blood around the socket. Ive tried to wipe her wound clean using just water ( she wasnt a fan of this at all... ) but I am just wondering if there is a home remedy to treat wounds and monitor for infection, or take her to the vet? She rooms in the same cage with her 7 siblings and they do not exhibit aggression towards each other. I will try to snap a photo tonight of her eye. Any thoughts are appreciated.
