Hi everyone. Natal has had a good day today , if only her temperature would come down . We learnt today that in some Downs syndrome people their temperature regulator in their brains stop working and there is nothing they can do for it. So this maybe why they are having trouble with her temperature . She has a cooling blanket on her to help with her temperature . They have knocked the 2 main sensations of completely and just giving her a little bit of her third one to keep her calm while she wakes up fully . She is doing a lot of her own breathing with lung pressure support from the ventilator. More awake today. Poking her tongue out and opening her eyes more and trying to move her hands. So come on baby keep fighting everyone is fighting with you and thank you for all the get well wishes and prayers. They are working. Love her to pieces mum and dad xx
