Hi everyone! Over the summer I went to the northern part of the country that Im from: La Guajira, Colombia. I had the pleasure of shooting video for the first chapter out of a 4 part documentary that the amazing Jordan Flaherty and Ewa Jasiewicz are doing. The documentary focuses on extractive industries and human rights violations all over the world. The dialect that you hear (not Spanish) is the Wayuu dialect - slowly disappearing as their communities continue to be displaced by these multinational companies. Hope you guys like it, its so sad whats going on all over the world. And its also exciting to see this work coming together to spread this information far and wide so that we can not only learn, but start to become more responsible as individuals and as family units, and as a community and as a species. one love, ONWARD~
