Hi everyone, Recycling Daze is almost here! Bring your books to - TopicsExpress

Hi everyone, Recycling Daze is almost here! Bring your books to be recycled to the Reflector on Monday and Tuesday, September 23 and 24. Please do not bring your books before this time because we do not have the space to store them. Drop your books off at the 2nd floor desk of the Reflector, and we’ll arrange them and put them out for display and trading on Wednesday and Thursday, September 25 and 26. Everyone, including students, will receive a message on Wednesday morning to come by, look at the books and take what they want. Again, a short refresher on how Recycling Daze works: 1. Look through your office now for books you no longer want/need such as examination copies, review copies, whatever you want to get rid of. Please do not bring items from your personal library at home such as detective novels, romance novels, cookbooks, genre fiction. If you want to recycle these types of books, please donate them to your public library for their “Friends of the Library” sales. 2. We cannot accept books at any other time due to storage issues. DO NOT BRING BOOKS TO US FOR RECYCLING DAZE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 23 AND 24. 3. When all books have been received, sorted and appropriate signage made, a message will go out to faculty, staff and students to come browse. The books will be on a table outside the Reflector. 4. Come by and have a look at the books others have left and take what you want. Book trading will cease on Thursday night at 10 p.m. On Friday, September 27, the leftovers will be taken to the recycling bins. They will not be kept until next semester’s Recycling Daze due to space constraints. Please note that this is a service sponsored by the Reflector in order for you to recycle YOUR books. The Reflector will not be participating—no books belonging to the Reflector will be offered in this service. Thanks for your participation in the Recycling Daze Program!
