Hi everyone. So I know that there are plans in the works to meet with several different administrators and faculty members to discuss textbook affordability on campus. After talking with Valerie about this, she suggested someone meet with Michael Hurley who is the Head of Research and Instructional Support on campus (i.e. the person who helps profs get the books they want for their classes). Ive emailed him to ask to set up a meeting, mostly just to learn more about our current policies and how most profs choose which text books to use. If anyone is interested in being in on that meeting (especially ASG people) or thinks that we should wait to meet with Mr. Hurley for some reason, please let me know. Thanks!
