Hi everyone. Thanks for all of your concern. Dan and I are fine. Its bizarre seeing everyone walking around casually while overhead you see missiles being intercepted midair ( thank you iron dome!) followed by a loud boom. I feel a little guilty adding to the endless political rants permeating Facebook but my self control has its limits so here it goes :) I know it is exhausting to see respected media outlets use false Images to exaggerate the situation in gaza. It feels unbelievably unfair that Israel needs to defend why they are going into gaza when its democratically elected government is shooting rockets aimed at killing Israeli civilians. But what has been most frightening is hearing those around me use this as proof that peace is not possible. Peace is possible. Yes we have endless reasons to be tired, frustrated, and defensive but we are all humans. Perhaps the path is not clear but dare to be idealist. Deep down every person ( minus a few crazies) just want to live in peace and quite. My grandpa used to say if your an old idealist your naive but if your young and pessimistic you have no heart. Common Young Facebook world... I believe in you.
