Hi everyone: Theres a bit of confusion surrounding Justin Haywards upcoming appearance on PBS, so I thought Id try to sort it all out. Justin was in the Twin Cities this last weekend (yes it was very cold) live in the PBS studios recording his bit for the Justin Hayward PBS special that will be airing nationwide beginning Feb 28. That special will also feature the broadcast of Spirits Live, the DVD that we shot in Atlanta in Aug 2013. However, this will be an alternate version of Spirits Live, so even if you already own the DVD, make sure to tune in to catch this new version. The special is part of PBSs March pledge drive, so as a thank you for your donation to PBS, PBS will be providing 5 Justin Hayward DVDs as gifts. Theres Spirits Live of course, plus a new DVD titled Watching & Waiting that features a performance we filmed in Florida last October. This is a perfect companion piece to Spirits Live since it includes 8 songs not featured on Spirits Live including the first ever live performance of the Moody Blues classic You Can Never Go Home from 1970s Every Good Boy Deserves Favour LP, plus the previously unreleased track No Regrets. There is also a new documentary titled The Story Behind Nights In White Satin narrated by Justin featuring what may be the first ever live performance of Nights caught on film. This new DVD shouldnt be confused with a clip compilation DVD titled Nights In White Satin that is already on the market. In addition, the long out of print Justin Hayward DVDs Live in San Juan Capistrano and Live at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will be available as gifts as well.
