Hi everyone, This week has been mostly about configuring and adjusting; The lasercutter was out of focus and would cut irregular and different in every corner. The difference was only small but it resulted in the wood not being fully cut at certain areas. We have been focusing the laser cutter so it would cut properly and efficiently through all the wood. Which lead to the conclusion that this machine is awesome and a lot more focused and precise, (we knew it had to be awesome and we actually saw its amazing results.) Because it is so precise all the connecting bits of the houses, baseplates etc. were too tight of a fit or wouldnt fit anymore and chip and break. So we had to get back to adjusting the designs and do quality control. It also forced our hand to redo some textures and all of the stone textures, making them a lot nicer and quicker to laser into the wood. We where also unable to paint most of the dungeon sets today due to the heavy rain and damp environment. It would make the paint blot and look bad. The good news; We received the plastic wall pillars and completed the first dungeon sets, ready for production. Town sets are still being adjusted to fit the new lasercutter. Because we have to readjust and partially redesign our product we have added an extra dungeon wall here and a little extra there... Spares or something :). Also, everyone will be getting double sided baseplates. Squares on one side and stone textured squares on the other. Anyway, we started production! We are still sorting things with the postal company, we will try to send off pledges as soon as we are able. We are thrilled to have started with production, did I mention we started production?
