Hi everyone. We had a nice quick visit to St Josephs hospital today although I am heading back there soon to meet some other volunteers who have been amazing. There are new patients now every day. Some people get moved to other less crowed hospitals in the West Bank when hey are well enough to be moved. Also there are now at least 50 relatives staying nearby in East Jerusalem in a hotel and we are going to help a local charity feed them when we can. We got news that the first three kids we spent time with last week, Mohammad. Marwa and Malalak have now gone with their families voluntarily back to Gaza. Mandisa was able to call 15 year old Mohammad and speak with him with all of us on speaker phone. We will still be getting him that camera. He told us his family shop was now gone but he was ok. At the hospital we learned about some of the new cases and the news. Yesterday a 6 year old boy died in St Josephs. He was the last of an extended family of 72 people who was killed. In slightly better news the 11 year old boy who was in a coma in ICU woke up yesterday. Our lovely Iman the 19 year old girl was in some distress today, a lot of pain. A handsome 21 year old boy with some sever injuries has not slept at all. His mum who sits with him all the time says he told her he cannot sleep because he is afraid the Israelis will come and kill him. He is deeply traumatized. I saw the mother of Hanan the little girl in bed the picture who is also in pretty bad condition today. She was asleep as was her lovely daughter. My wee Suhaib still sleeps, the two year old unaware of the evil that has afflicted them. I hope he is dreaming about lovely things. And as always my lovely 4 year olds in the last ward play like nothing has happened but I think there are scars we have not seen yet. They are recovering well from their physical wounds though and I showed them a lovely video my friend Muireann and her daughter sent us singing a song about a wee horse. :) They are seeing all the messages you are sending too.
