Hi everyone! Weve been spending yesterday and today travelling with our sister Rebecca whos visiting from Hong Kong. Yesterday, our brother Thiti Korn who is a Thai tourist guide, took time off from his busy schedule to take us to the Golden Triangle. Nothing really fun to do there since we did not have time to cross the border into either Myanmar (Burma) or Laos. The day did turn out to be enjoyable when we paid a visit to the Queens royal palace. Both Rebecca and Hana loved the beautiful flowers at the royal garden. As Rebecca said, Its like being in paradise. I agree. I enjoyed taking photos of the lovely flowers and having two beautiful models to enhance the photos was great. Today, we took Rebecca to Thailands tallest mountain, Doi Inthanon. Many of you will remember photos I posted last year when Hana and I first visited the mountain. On the way to the peak, we stopped at a waterfall for lunch and photo session. Hana and Rebecca absolutely enjoyed the meal. It was the best meal theyve had in Thailand, thanks to Korn, who managed to get two dishes that were not on the menu. It was what the owner prepared for herself and her staff. I can safely say that youre not going to get those dishes in most, if not all, other Thai restaurants. We were glad that we had lots of walking after the meal to burn off the calories and more importantly, lessen the extra weight in our tummies. After enjoying the view at the waterfall, we proceeded to the peak. Hana and I were worried that it would be misty as before and that Rebecca would not be able to enjoy the view, but God made everything perfect. When we arrived, it was cool but there was no mist. It was ideal for photo-taking. We had a good view and lots of photos of the two huge pagodas at the peak. Interestingly, when we were almost done with taking photos, the mist formed and visibility was poor again as it was last year. Lucky? I dont think so. Ended the day with a seafood buffet in Chiang Mai city. Now, I am tired from all the travelling and eating and will only look at the photos Ive taken tomorrow. I could upload all the photos now, but I believe that my photos should give you guys an idea of the places weve visited, and not be subjected to just seeing photos of Hana and me.
